The sign says:

  • 1 DOZEN BAGELS SUNDAY ONLY $7.99

“Hi, I’d like a dozen bagels for $7.99, please.”

“Sorry, but that’s Sunday only.”

“Oh, okay. Then may I have some punctuation, please?”

“Sorry, we don’t have any.”

(Same scene, different site: “It was originally released on DVD only in Europe.” Not in theatres? Or not in America?)

  1. You fellow grammarian from the gym was at the bakery last week making sure they put a comma after happy birthday and before the recipient’s name on the cake. 🧐
