Nothing is adjacent from anything. You can be adjacent to it. No other adjacencies allowed.
Also: I vote for every human to be a “who.”
A human is not “that.”
“That” is for objects, and situations, and a grade-schooler’s cussing. (“That is unacceptable, young lady!”)
Stand up for your right to be a Who.
Funny that “who” is used correctly in the first part of the sentence, but when it comes to a restrictive clause, “that” is used.
