Lust and infatuation, maybe, but never fear and fascination. (It was a bacchanal, after all.)
Unless you’re talking about those secret emotions they never reveal till they’re my age and writing their memoirs.
No, I think what this writer meant was:

I know the feeling.
And yeah, I remember those other feelings too.
